Musa encouraged worshippers to remain hopeful, saying that God never abandons His people. He described Abioye as a close ally and highlighted the importance of challenges in personal growth, noting that adversity strengthens resilience.

The minister also addressed broader concerns, warning against negative narratives about Nigeria, which he said could hinder national progress, and called on Christians to align their actions with their beliefs to make a tangible impact. Musa’s remarks come after his nomination by President Tinubu on December 2 as Minister of Defence, replacing Mohammed Badaru, who resigned on health grounds.
