PDP Rep Resigns from Party, Set to Join APC

Oluwole Oke, the long-serving member of the House of Representatives representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency in Osun State, has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Oke, a six-term federal lawmaker, confirmed his decision in a phone interview on Wednesday. His resignation follows consultations with his political associates, supporters, and family members. A copy of his resignation letter, dated April 16, 2025, was addressed to the PDP Chairman in Ward 7 of Obokun Local Government Area, Osun State.

Although he has not yet announced his next political move, Oke has called on his supporters to exit the PDP and await further instructions.
