Aliyat, who hails from Osun State, distinguished herself academically by winning awards in several subjects, including Igbo Language, English, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Economics, and Marketing. In addition to her academic excellence, the Yoruba student also received multiple recognitions for character and discipline, including awards for Neatest and Complete Uniform, Affinity to Students, Most Hardworking Student, Most Disciplined, and Most Punctual.
During the school’s 15th Valedictory and Prize Giving Ceremony, Aliyat encouraged her fellow students to approach their studies with diligence, enthusiasm, and determination. She urged them to remain attentive to their teachers and to the school’s director, whom she described as her mentor, stressing that obedience and hard work are keys to success.
In her address, the school’s director, Mrs. Solomy Ochokwu, charged the graduating students to be courageous, resilient, and uphold integrity as they move on to the next phase of their lives. She reminded them to embody the values instilled in them during their time at CIDS and to always act with honesty and a strong work ethic.
Ochokwu advised the students to remain grateful to their parents and mentors, emphasizing that appreciation and moral strength would lead them to lasting success.
