Oshiomhole’s ex-Aide Seeks His Resignation, Says APC Chairman Lacks Temperament to Lead Party

Charles Idahosa, a former political aide to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole has called for his resignation.

Idahosa, who was reacting to attack on the state’s governor, Godwin Obaseki, Oba of Lagos and other prominent people at the country home of Oshiomhole at the weekend said the former governor lacks the temperament to be national chairman of the party.

He said, “Nobody attacked Oshiomhole in Benin. Oshiomhole is just shameless.  Don’t you see the puerile response he was giving, that it was the Deputy Governor, Phillip Shaibu that organized thugs to his house? How can you as national chairman of a political party invite people to your house for lunch and they were attacked in your compound?”

“I don’t want to be sounding like a broken record on this matter anymore.  All what I have been saying were reechoed by Prof. Itse Sagay last week. Dele Sobowale, the popular columnist also said the same today”.

“The man doesn’t have the temperament to be the national chairman of a political party. He should resign and look for something else to do. How can you attack a sitting governor and destroying vehicles  ? It is clear that he was never attacked in Benin. It is a lie”.

“Now, the governor, Oba of Lagos and the Chancellor of Edo state university, Iyamho and other prominent Nigerians were attacked in your compound and you are now begging them to come and eat. How can you have thugs inside your compound? I’m just sick and tired of this man”.

“I know there are some people in Edo state who are supporting him but they are going to regret.  Obaseki has just governed for three years but Oshiomhole governed Edo state for eight years but nobody gave him problem”.

“ For eight years we were in opposition, we were abusing  Anenih. For one day, Anenih never brought police to arrest us. The situation is very embarrassing and I think Oshiomhole should just resign.”
