OnlyFans Model Courtney Clenney in Court Over Death of Nigerian Boyfriend, Blows Kisses

Courtney Clenney, a 29-year-old OnlyFans creator, appeared in a Miami courtroom on Friday, February 20, 2026, ahead of her upcoming murder trial. She faces second-degree murder charges in connection with the 2022 stabbing death of her Nigerian boyfriend, Christian Obumseli, at the Miami apartment they shared.

Clenney has claimed she acted in self-defense and stated that she threw the knife that fatally wounded Obumseli. During the hearing, she drew attention by making faces at spectators and blowing kisses in the courtroom.

Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Andrea Wolfson denied the defense’s motion to remove the prosecution’s expert witness, Dr. Michael Brannon, allowing him to remain involved in the case. The defense had objected because of Brannon’s past legal dispute with their proposed expert, Dr. Lenore Walker, which was settled over two decades ago. While Walker expressed discomfort working alongside Brannon, the court ruled that both could continue as long as professionalism was maintained.

The court also ruled on the use of recordings made by Obumseli without Clenney’s knowledge. Most were excluded as illegally obtained, though recordings from public areas such as the apartment balcony and lobby were allowed.

Clenney’s trial is scheduled for spring 2026, with a status hearing set for March.
