“Only Tinubu Can Solve Southeast’s Problems” – Arthur Eze
Prominent businessman and philanthropist, Prince Arthur Eze, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his dedication to the development of the Southeast region of Nigeria. Speaking to reporters after President Tinubu’s recent visit to Enugu State, Eze expressed confidence in the President’s intentions and vision for fostering growth and unity across the country.
Eze, who serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Atlas Oranto Petroleum, described Tinubu’s visit to Enugu as a significant moment of celebration and solidarity between the Southeast and Southwest regions. He highlighted the President’s genuine interest in advancing peace and prosperity throughout the nation, particularly in the Southeast.
The businessman lauded President Tinubu for his impactful initiatives, including the establishment of the South East Development Commission (SEDC), which he believes holds the potential to address critical infrastructural challenges in the region. Eze noted that the commission, with over ₦100 billion in funding, could create numerous job opportunities and significantly transform the lives of the people in the area.
“We have to thank President Tinubu for the South East Development Commission. That commission can solve our infrastructural problem. They have more than ₦100 billion to create jobs here. President Tinubu released the money without hesitation. Other administrations neglected us in the past, but this commission will change the lives of Ndigbo. Very soon, youths will start getting jobs,” he said.
Eze also praised Tinubu’s leadership style, describing him as a visionary leader with a deep sense of inclusivity. He recounted the President’s impromptu yet impactful speech during the Enugu visit, saying it reflected wisdom and a divine mission to uplift the Southeast.
“President Tinubu has no enemies. He doesn’t have boundaries. He doesn’t care to know who you are. Only President Tinubu can solve our problems in the Southeast. Most of us here are above 60. So, if President Tinubu cannot solve the problem, then we are dead,” Eze remarked.
The Anambra-born philanthropist further expressed gratitude for the President’s recognition of Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State. He highlighted the governor’s transformative efforts in security, urban development, and innovation, drawing comparisons to legendary leaders such as Michael Okpara and Sam Mbakwe.
“Peter Mbah is a man of peace and wisdom. He has brought innovation to the governance of Enugu State. He is changing the face of the state and making urban development a reality. We thank God for him and the security and stability he has provided, allowing us to live and move freely. He reminds us of the great leaders of old Eastern Nigeria,” Eze said.
He also acknowledged the role of traditional rulers in supporting the fight against insecurity, praising their collaboration with the state government and law enforcement agencies to maintain peace.
Eze concluded by reaffirming his confidence in Tinubu’s administration and its ability to bring lasting development to the Southeast, underscoring his optimism for the region’s future.
