Omah Lay Indicates Return to Christianity After Exploring Islam
Nigerian singer Omah Lay has indicated a possible return to Christianity after previously suggesting he had embraced Islam.
The Rivers State-born artist, whose real name is Stanley Omah Didia, had in earlier years hinted at converting to Islam, though he did not publicly detail the extent of that decision.
In a recent post shared on Snapchat, the singer suggested a shift in his spiritual direction. He stated that he had resumed reading the Bible, noting that while he appreciated his experience with the Quran, he feels a stronger personal connection to the Bible.
“Back to the Bible. I enjoyed reading the Quran but I relate more to this,” he wrote.
The post has been interpreted by followers as a sign that the artist is returning to Christianity, the religion he was raised in.
