Olu of Warri is dead
Reports filtering in from Warri, Delta State, have it that the Olu of Warri, Ikenwoli Godfrey Emiko is dead. He was aged 65 years.
Details of his death remain sketchy as at the time of this report, however, his death might not be unconnected with complications from Covid19.
Reports have it that, he might have contracted the virus from the Army GOC who died from Covid19 complications recently.
It was gathered that an official announcement is expected to be made soon by the Ologbosere of Warri, Chief Emami Ayiri, who, as the traditional Prime Minister of the town, is empowered to break the news of the monarch’s death.
