NURTW plans to build housing units across the nation
The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) is making plans to build 200units of 2/3bedroom flats in each of the 36 states of the federation and Abuja for members.
This was made know by the National President of the union, Alhaji Tajudeen Baruwa while speaking to journalists after a council meeting in Osogbo, Osun State.
He stated that that this is a move to ensure that members become house owners and also to ensure that members are comfortable and safe.
He further stated that the union intends to partner with the Federal Mortgage Bank to actualise this plan.
The meeting was attended by chairmen of the NURTW of all the 36 states and Abuja.
