Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has expressed confidence that nothing will stand in his way if he chooses to seek re-election in 2027. He made this declaration on Tuesday while receiving a delegation of traditional rulers and leaders from the three Local Government Areas that make up the Kalabari Ethnic Nationality in Rivers State.
During the visit, the delegation endorsed Governor Fubara for a second term, commending his leadership and commitment to development. They highlighted his administration’s efforts, particularly the ongoing ₦200 billion Trans-Kalabari Road Project, as evidence of his dedication to infrastructural growth.
In response, Governor Fubara assured the delegation that his focus remains on delivering tangible progress for the people of Rivers State. He emphasized that service and impact are more important than the duration in office, reaffirming his commitment to governance that benefits the state.
