North Central APC Forum Threatens Legal Action Against Nyesom Wike If he gets Entangled in PDP Affairs

In a stern warning issued on Tuesday in Jos, Plateau State, the North Central APC Forum has voiced its intent to pursue legal action against Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, if he becomes too entangled in the matters of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Alhaji Saleh Mandung Zazzaga, Chairman of the North Central APC Forum, emphasized that as a prominent figure within the APC Federal Government, Wike should refrain from becoming overly involved in PDP affairs.

Zazzaga articulated the viewpoint that Wike’s active participation in PDP matters would not align with the interests of the APC.

“We are cautioning Wike against inserting himself into the PDP crisis, let alone taking actions to mediate it, as the PDP still regards him as a member,” Zazzaga stated.

He continued, “However, we in the APC are apprehensive about Wike’s affiliation with the PDP because we believe it may not always be in the best interest of the APC, in light of his appointed position within the government.”

Zazzaga stressed the importance of Wike’s allegiance being clearly demonstrated within the APC and urged him to prioritize his affiliation with the party over any friendships with the opposition PDP.

“We will persist in expressing our concerns regarding Wike’s connections with the PDP, especially when many of their leaders have not openly supported the APC administration and the leadership of President Bola Tinubu following his victory in the February Presidential polls,” Zazzaga added.

Of particular concern to the APC is a recent viral video showing Nyesom Wike in the company of a prominent PDP member, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, which has raised eyebrows within the APC ranks.
