Nollywood Actress Vows Not to Have More Children.
Nollywood actress Joke Jigan has announced that she will not be having any more children, citing the toll motherhood has taken on her life and career. The mother of two, who recently welcomed a baby boy named Mateo, shared her decision on Instagram, explaining that the demands of raising children have become overwhelming.
“Pregnancy is a blessing, but I won’t be doing it again. I tell you that. Can’t remember the last time I had a good sleep, to even do business video sef na war,” she wrote, expressing the physical and emotional strain of her parenting journey.
Jigan and her partner, Olawale Jegunmah, have been together for several years and got engaged in 2017. The couple tied the knot at the Ikoyi Marriage Registry in Lagos on July 7, 2023, with a joyful video of them dancing going viral at the time. They later held a traditional ceremony attended by family and close friends.
Known for her outspoken nature, Joke Jigan has previously made headlines for her public statements and social media posts, including calling out a film producer over unpaid dues and celebrating personal milestones.
