Nigerians React After Twitter User Calls Osinbajo, Others ‘Breed of Vultures’
A Nigerian Twitter user, Dr. Gimba Kakanda, courted controversy after he made a veiled reference to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and others in line of succession to the President as ‘breed of vultures’ and would not like to see them run the affairs of the country in a tweet on Wednesday.
In the controversial tweet, Mr. Kakanda called for the protection by all means, President Muhammadu Buhari, a day after his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari tested positive for coronavirus. According to him, the call was necessary to avoid the succession intrigues that played out after the death of former President Musa Yar’Adua.
