Nigerians Attack Ajimobi’s Daughter-in-law For Comparing Late Governor With Makinde
Some Nigerians on Twitter attacked the daughter-in-law of late former Governor of Oyo state, Abiola Ajimobi, Fatima Ganduje-Ajimobi, after she compared the incumbent Governor of the state, Engr. Seyi Makinde, with her father-in-law.
Reacting to a tweet by human rights activist, Mr. Segun Awosanya, popularly known as Segalink, Fatima said Makinde can never surpass Ajimobi’s achievements in office. Her comment drew the rage of some Nigerians who berated her father-in-law for his performance in office. Some also attacked her father, Governor of Kano state, Umar Abdullahi Ganduje.

Fatima, who is a SA to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, is married to Ajimobi’s son, Idris.
The widow of Ajimobi, Florence, had last week accused Makinde of being insensitive to the family and refused to condole with them. The family also accused the governor of refusing to give them the approval to bury their father on a parcel of land in Ibadan.
Makinde had said the land in question was a subject of court litigation and thus could not allow Ajimobi to be buried there.
