Nigerian Student Faith Odunsi Shines Globally, Wins Top Mathematics Contest
Faith Odunsi, a student of Ambassadors School in Ota, Ogun State, has brought global recognition to Nigeria after emerging winner of the Global Open Mathematics Competition. The teenager secured first place ahead of participants from the United States, United Kingdom, China, Europe, Asia, and other regions, earning a cash prize of \$1,000.
Her outstanding performance showcased her confidence and intellect, marking her as one of the brightest young talents on the world stage. Faith, the daughter of a doctor and a businesswoman, attributed her success to her father’s encouragement, which she said inspired her early passion for mathematics.
