“Nigeria owes you” — Tinubu celebrates wife Oluremi at 65
President Bola Tinubu has paid tribute to his wife, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, as she marked her 65th birthday on Sunday.
In a heartfelt message, the president described her as “the love of my life” and credited her quiet strength and grace as the anchor that has supported him through years of struggle, political exile, and leadership. He said Oluremi has remained patient and devoted while carrying burdens silently, noting that her sacrifices have been as impactful to the nation as his own.
Tinubu praised her influence beyond family life, highlighting her compassion, faith, and the example she sets for women in Nigeria. “In you, our nation sees the true strength of womanhood; resolute yet tender, humble yet unshakably firm,” he said, adding that “Nigeria owes you more than many will ever know.”
The president also described the first lady as his confidant and counsellor whose warmth and empathy continue to touch lives across the country. Expressing his gratitude, he said, “I love you more than ever, and am blessed every day by your presence. Your love is a treasure I hold dear.”
He concluded with a prayer for her continued joy, peace, and fulfilment, wishing her a happy 65th birthday.
