NCAA Rescinds Suspension, United Nigeria Airlines Aircraft Cleared for Operation
The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has officially lifted the suspension on United Nigeria Airlines’ wet lease aircraft. The decision comes after a one-week hiatus following the diversion incident that prompted the initial suspension.
United Nigeria Airlines, in an official statement, expressed its satisfaction with the resolution and announced the restoration of its Part G operations specifications. The suspension had specifically impacted one of the airline’s aircraft.
Emphasizing their commitment to safety, United Nigeria Airlines affirmed that passenger well-being remains a top priority for the airline. The statement also included an apology to passengers for any inconvenience caused during the temporary suspension.
The suspension was instated by the NCAA last week due to the diversion of a fleet originally scheduled to fly to Abuja. Instead, the aircraft landed in Asaba, Delta State, located in the South-South region of Nigeria. With the lifting of the suspension, United Nigeria Airlines is set to resume its normal operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards and passenger satisfaction.
