About 1,400 petitioners have signed a petition calling for the sacking of the Managing Director of the First City Monument Bank, Adam Nuru.

Tunde’s wife, Moyo, was reportedly engaged in an office romance with her MD, a relationship that was well known to everyone in the bank.

Investigations revealed that, the two kids from the marriage were discovered to have been fathered by the bank MD.

Tunde was said to have been so in love with and attached to his wife and children that he spent most of his resources on them.

They all usually went on foreign trips together and he was also known to have put the kids in the best schools.

At some point Moyo was reported to have resigned from FCMB and travelled to the US with the two children on holiday.

Further reports had it that, It was when the school session started in Nigeria and the children were not returned, that Tunde started asking questions and Moyo finally summoned the courage to tell him the children were not his own.

She was also said to have gone to the extent of filing for asylum in the US on the ground of marital violence in Nigeria.

She also tried getting Tunde barred from entering the US

The reports further stated that, Tunde suffered a stroke on receiving the sad news. He however, recovered from the stroke but was said to have become a shadow of his former self, before he was reported dead.

Autopsy report puts the cause of his death as ‘heart failure’ .

A petition initiated by friends of the deceased, had alleged that Tunde died of depression after discovering that his supposed two children with Moyo belong to the FCMB MD.

In the meantime, the FCMB Board of Directors had said that it was reviewing allegations of unethical conduct against its MD, and would make necessary statements at the appropriate time.
