Lyon FC of France have knocked out Manchester City FC from the UEFA Champions League.
Lyon thrashed Manchester City by three goals to one.
Lyon opened scoring in the 24th minute through Maxwell Cornet. Manchester scored their solitary goal in the 69th minute through Kevin De Bruyne.
Lyon showed their class over Manchester City with strikes from Moussa Dembélé in the 79th and 87th minute, to make the final score 3-1.
Lyon have qualified for the semi final of the UEFA Champions League and would be meeting Bayern Munich who thrashed Barcelona by 8 goals to 2.
