8-Star Bayern Munich crush Barcelona to move into UEFA Champions League Semi Finals
German team Bayern Munich, have qualified for the UEFA Champions League semi-finals after an 8 star performance against FC Barcelona of Spain.
Bayern beat Barcelona by 8 goals to 2.
Bayern opened scoring in the 4th minute through Thomas Mueller. It took a 7th minute own goal by David Alaba to level things up.
Bayern showed extreme class by scoring three more goals through Ivan Perisic in the 22nd minute, Serge Gnabry in the 28th minute and Thomas Mueller again in the 31st minute.
Barcelona pulled one back in the 54th minute through Luis Suarez.
Bayern however completed the 8 star performance with goals from Joshua Kimmich in the 63rd minute, another from Robert Lewandoski in the 82nd minute and two late goals in the 85th and 89th minute from Brazilian Phillipe Coutinho.
Bayern would now meet the winner of the quarter final match between Manchester City and Lyon in the semi final.
