Let’s Stand by Tinubu for a Better Tomorrow,” Fubara Tells Rivers Residents in Easter Message
Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has urged the people of the state to continue supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Renewed Hope Agenda. This appeal came in his Easter message released on Saturday in Port Harcourt, even as the governor faces suspension by his political party.
In a statement titled *Renewed By The Resurrection: Advancing Peace, Unity and Good Governance*, Fubara described Easter as a time for reconciliation, unity, and renewed hope. He reflected on the message of Christ’s resurrection as a symbol of restoration and victory over adversity.
“Easter is a sacred season of reconciliation and unity. It is a time when the peace of Christ dwells richly in our hearts, restoring relationships, comforting the afflicted, feeding the hungry, and healing the brokenhearted,” the governor stated. He emphasized that the spirit of the season reinforces hope, even in challenging times.
Fubara reaffirmed his commitment to providing good governance and democratic dividends to the people of Rivers State. He called on citizens to unite in pursuit of progress, urging continued alignment with the vision of the Tinubu-led administration.
“Let us not lose sight of our collective strength. The transformation we all desire is achievable when we act together as one people under God, committed to peace, unity, and progress,” he said.
The governor concluded his message by wishing every household peace, love, good health, and renewed strength, expressing hope for a greater future for Rivers State and the nation.
