Late Dora Akunyili’s husband shot dead in Anambra State
Dr Chike Akunyili, the husband of former Minister of Information and Culture, Late Dora Akunyili, has been reportedly shot dead by gunmen in Anambra State.
Reports received stated that Dr Akunyili was killed alongside his Police escort and his driver.
The incident was reported to have happened on Tuesday night at Umuoji, Idemili North LGA of Anambra state.
Circumstances surrounding his murder are still sketchy.
The incident has not also been confirmed by the Police.
Anambra State has witnessed a surge in the activities of gunmen in recent times.
