Lagos Police Arrest Woman for Stabbing Man Over Alleged Unfulfilled ₦2 Million Promise
Lagos police have taken a woman into custody after she allegedly stabbed a man identified as Jeff during a dispute reportedly linked to an unfulfilled ₦2 million promise.
In a statement given after her arrest, the woman claimed Jeff had agreed to provide the money in return for multiple sexual encounters, which she said she accepted to raise funds for her sister’s medical care. “He told me he would help me with ₦2 million for my sister’s health if I slept with him. I had no choice,” she said.
Investigators are now reviewing the circumstances surrounding the incident, including the nature of the alleged agreement and the events that escalated into violence. Authorities say further details will be released as the case develops.
