The chairman of Ardo-Kola Local Government Area of Taraba State, Salihu Dovo, has been kidnapped in the early hours of Sunday morning and murdered by his abductors a few hours later.
The late chairman was abducted in his Jalingo residence, at Sabon Gari, not too far from a Mobile Police Camp.
Taraba State Police Public Relations Officer, David Misal, confirmed the report hinting that two persons have been arrested in connection with the incident.

He also said that the police have launched an investigation into the issue.
