Kayode Peters, Star of ‘Flatmates,’ Dies in Canada at 47
Nigerian actor and producer Kayode Peters has died in Canada. Peters, known for his role as Koko in the sitcom “Flatmates,” passed away on June 28 in Toronto after battling an illness.
His family confirmed his death in a statement, describing him as a beloved son, husband, father, brother, friend, and a gifted filmmaker whose work inspired many. They praised his kindness, warmth, and generous spirit, noting that he touched countless lives both on and off the screen.
“KP braved, challenged, and conquered a long-time illness until his last breath,” the statement read. The family has asked for privacy as they make funeral arrangements and heal from the loss. Further details will be shared later.
