Kano Government Sacks Sanusi [See Full Statement]
The Kano State Government has dethroned the Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II.
The Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji who announced the Emir’s sack In a statement on Monday said he was removed for violation of part 3 section A-E of Kano state law.
Alhaji said relevant stakeholders was consulted before the decision to remove Sanusi was reached. He called on the people of the state to remain calm and go about their normal businesses while a new Emir would be announced in due time.
