The Kano State Government has announced the appointment of Aminu Ado Bayero as the new Emir of Kano following the dethronement of Muhammadu Sanusi II earlier today.
Appointment of Bayero, who is currently the Emir of Bichi, one of the new Emirates created by the government, according to the Secretary to the State Government, Usman Alhaji takes immediate effect.
