JUST IN: Youths Block Road Following Suspected Herdsmen Attack, Injuring 10 in Benue Community
Ten individuals in the Antsa community have sustained injuries following an attack by suspected herdsmen on Monday morning. Antsa, situated along the North Bank – J.S Tarka University of Agriculture, Makurdi road in Benue state, serves as a critical thoroughfare connecting commuters to Gbajimba in Guma Local Government area.
As early as 7 am today, impassioned youths erected roadblocks along this bustling university community road, halting the flow of vehicles and motorcycles. Their actions, fueled by frustration and concern for their safety, signify a resolute stance against the recurring security challenges plaguing their community.
At present, the determined youths have pledged to maintain their blockade until authorities engage with them to address the prevailing security threats. The situation remains fluid, and updates will be provided as events unfold.
