JUST IN: University of Abuja ASUU Declares Indefinite Strike Over Union Concerns
University of Abuja, the local branch of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has declared an indefinite strike to address various issues facing the union. The announcement came following a congress held at the university’s Permanent Site, where members voted to initiate the strike.
Dr. Sylvanus Ugoh, the branch chairman, confirmed the decision in an interview with newsmen, stating that the union had unanimously agreed to commence a total and indefinite strike, effective immediately.
