JUST IN: Scores Feared Dead as Car Rams Into Soldiers During Training in Lagos
A tragic incident occurred on Friday morning in Lagos as an unconfirmed number of soldiers from Myoung Barracks, Yaba, were feared dead after a vehicle, reportedly driven by a drunken driver, rammed into them during their routine morning training.
According to reports, the incident has thrown the military community into panic. A soldier who witnessed the accident described the scene as horrific, stating, “There’s blood everywhere. I was spared because I was at the back.”
Eyewitnesses claim that the vehicle was occupied by three young men suspected to be internet fraudsters, commonly known as ‘Yahoo Boys.’ After the crash, one of the occupants fled the scene, while the remaining two were caught and severely beaten by onlookers. Their vehicle was also vandalized.
