JUST IN: President Tinubu Appoints New Board for Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission

President Bola Tinubu has given his nod for the appointment of a nine-member board to oversee the affairs of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission. The announcement was made on Wednesday by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Tinubu, through a statement titled ‘President Tinubu appoints new board of Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission.’

The newly appointed board is set to be led by Colonel Aloche Adole as Chairman, with Dr. Stephen Adegbite taking on the role of Secretary. Other members include Mrs. Omowumi Ogunlola, representing the South West, Clement Nweke from the South East, and Prince Wosu representing the South South region.

In addition to the regional members, the board comprises Prof. Joseph Mamman from the North West, Dr. Toma Ragnjiya from the North East, Dr. Simon Dolly from the North Central, and Raphael Nwankwo, who will be representing the Christian Association of Nigeria.

Ajuri Ngelale conveyed President Tinubu’s charge to the newly appointed members, urging them to view their appointments as an opportunity to serve the nation diligently. The President emphasized the importance of wholehearted commitment to the mission of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission.

This development comes as part of President Tinubu’s efforts to strengthen and streamline the operations of key government agencies. The appointed individuals bring a wealth of experience to their respective roles, and their service is expected to contribute significantly to the commission’s objectives.
