JUST IN: President Tinubu Appoints Eight New Permanent Secretaries (Full List)
President Bola Tinubu has greenlit the appointment of eight new permanent secretaries, marking a strategic move to bolster administrative leadership within the federal civil service. The decision, announced today by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, aims to address current and anticipated gaps in key states and geopolitical zones.
“The new Federal Permanent Secretaries were selected through a rigorous process overseen by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation,” stated Ngelale in a press release titled ‘President Tinubu appoints eight new permanent secretaries.’
The appointees include Dr. Emanso Okop from Akwa-Ibom, Obi Vitalis representing Anambra, Mahmood Tabi’a designated for Bauchi, and Danjuma Sanusi chosen for Jigawa. Additionally, Olusanya Olubunmi from Ondo, Dr. Keshinro Ismaila from Zamfara, Akujobi Ijeoma for the South-East region, and Isokpunwu Osaruwanmwen from the South-South complete the list of newly appointed permanent secretaries.
In his directive, President Tinubu emphasized the critical role of the appointees in upholding unwavering dedication, diligence, and loyalty to the nation. He underscored the expectation for them to ensure optimal service delivery to the Nigerian populace.
