Just In: President Buhari signs 2021 Appropriation Bill
Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, a few moments away, signed the 2021 Appropriation Bill into law at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The president signed on a total of ₦13.58 trillion, 5.64 trillion has been set aside for recurrent expenditure, 4.13 for capital expenditure while 3.32 trillion will be allocated to debt servicing.

With this, the president has kept good on his promise to return the budgetary cycle to a January to December rota.

The National Assembly has passed the ₦13.58 trillion budget for the next fiscal year and the Presidency maintained same.
