JUST IN: National Grid Collapses Again, Nationwide Power Outages Reported
In yet another power crisis, Nigeria’s national electricity grid has collapsed, leaving large parts of the country without power. This latest collapse occurred at approximately 2:35 PM, resulting in a total loss of electricity generation across the grid.
According to hourly data, none of the country’s power generation companies were able to produce a single megawatt at the time of the collapse. This is the latest in a string of grid failures, following multiple collapses in October. Despite recent assurances from the Federal Government of plans to stabilize the grid and end these frequent disruptions.
