JUST IN: Mother of Former Nigerian President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Dies at 101
Hajiya Aya Dada Yar’adua, the mother of former Nigerian President Umaru Musa Yar’adua, has passed away at the age of 101.
Hajiya Dada, as she was fondly called, died peacefully at her residence in Katsina after a prolonged illness. She was a revered matriarch, not only as the mother of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua but also of the late General Shehu Musa Yar’adua and Senator Abdu Soja Yar’adua, both of whom were significant figures in Nigerian politics and military history.
