JUST IN: Lagos Court Grants Emefiele N50m Bail
A high court situated in Ikeja, Lagos, has approved bail for Godwin Emefiele, the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), in the amount of N50 million.
The presiding judge, Rahmon Oshodi, delivered the ruling on Friday, granting Emefiele bail with two sureties of equivalent sum.
Emefiele, who faces trial in Lagos, is accused of misconduct in office, as indicated by a 26-count charge brought against him.
