JUST IN: Jandor Set to Rejoin APC Today
Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor and the 2023 Lagos governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is expected to officially defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC) today. This move follows his resignation from the PDP two weeks ago, which he publicly announced.
Jandor is scheduled to address a press conference this morning at his campaign office in Ikeja, Lagos, where he will formally declare his return to the ruling party. His defection comes after a closed-door meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja, during which he reportedly discussed his intention to rejoin the APC, his former political base.
While official confirmation from his camp has been limited, sources close to the politician have hinted at the development, suggesting that all plans for his defection have been finalized.
