According to a local resident who spoke on condition of anonymity for security reasons, the gunmen stormed the victims’ residence and took them away. The kidnappers have since contacted the families of the abducted individuals, demanding a ransom of N100 million for their release.
Efforts to reach senior military officials for comment, including the Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Markus Kangye, and the Director of Defence Information, Brigadier General Tukur Gusau, were unsuccessful as of the time of this report.
