JUST IN: Flights Diverted Due to Fire at Lagos Airport
A fire outbreak at terminal one of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos has prompted the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to divert flights to the D Wing. The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday, causing a temporary disruption in flight operations.
Obiageli Orah, director of public affairs and consumer protection at FAAN, confirmed the incident. Authorities are working to control the situation and ensure the safety of passengers and staff.
