JUST IN: Explosion in Port Harcourt Kills Protester
An explosion in Port Harcourt resulted in the death of a middle-aged protester on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred at around 9:45 AM in front of Hotel Presidential, where the protester, carrying dynamite, was attempting to discharge the explosive.
Eyewitnesses reported that the victim’s body was swiftly removed as security forces arrived at the scene.
A witness, who wished to remain anonymous, noted that the protest had caused significant traffic disruptions as the demonstrators made their way through the city.
