JUST IN: Court Invalidates PDP Ibadan National Convention, Upholds Wike-Backed Caretaker Committee
A Federal High Court in Ibadan has nullified the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) national convention held in the city on November 15, 2025.
The ruling prevents members of the Tanimu Turaki-led National Working Committee (NWC) from presenting themselves as the party’s national officers.
The court affirmed that the Caretaker Committee, headed by Mohammed Abdulrahman and Senator Samuel Anyanwu, remains the only officially recognised NWC until a valid national convention is conducted.
