JUST IN: Anambra Declares July 18 Work-Free Day

Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has declared Friday, July 18, 2025, a work-free day for all civil and public servants to enable participation in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
The announcement was made via a circular signed by Head of Service, Dame Theodora Okwy Igwegbe, who stated:
“This is to enable eligible workers travel to their respective communities to participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.”
The government urged citizens to seize the opportunity to register, update, or transfer their voter details, emphasizing the importance of civic engagement.
All ministries and agencies are directed to ensure strict compliance.
