“Joe Igbokwe, Your Papa!”: Paul Okoye Criticizes APC Chieftain Over Remarks on P-Square’s Split
Renowned singer Paul Nonso Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy and one half of the former music duo P-Square, has publicly criticized All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Joe Igbokwe for his recent comments on the group’s split.
Paul Okoye recently confirmed that P-Square, which reunited in 2021 after a five-year hiatus, has parted ways again. Reacting to the news, Igbokwe took to Facebook to express his disappointment, criticizing the twin brothers for their inability to resolve their differences despite their close bond.
Igbokwe’s post read: “So shameful that two twin brothers, Paul and Peter, cannot work together, love one another, trust each other, think together, reason together, forgive each other, manage their wives, manage their success story, control their emotions, or manage their internal contradictions. Even their wives could not help matters. This is a shame.
“It pains me to no end. Now, are there no elders in the family? This is success without brains. Education without character. When Gold rusts what will Iron do? Ndi ara akwu eke. Awon werey.”
In response, Paul Okoye fired back on Instagram, advising Igbokwe to focus on the challenges facing Nigeria under the APC’s administration rather than meddling in their personal issues.
Paul Okoye wrote, “Joe Igbokwe, your papa! Elder wey mumu! Focus on the country wey you put mouth scatter! People are hungry!”
