Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) reacts to mass abduction of women, children in Borno, Kaduna
In response to the alarming mass abduction of women and children by criminal elements in Borno and Kaduna states, the Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) has called upon the Federal Government to take immediate action against the perpetrators.
The distressing incidents happened at the Ngala Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Borno State and Kuriga in Kaduna State.
In a statement issued on Saturday in Kaduna, Prof. Khalid Aliyu, the Secretary-General of JNI, emphasized the urgency of arresting and prosecuting those responsible for the abductions. He urged the government, specifically the Office of the National Security Adviser and the Director-General of the Department of State Security, to intensify efforts in bringing the perpetrators of these heinous crimes to justice.
Expressing deep concern over the recent abductions at Ngala IDP camp and Government Secondary School Kuriga, Aliyu called for swift and decisive action against not only the abductors but also their accomplices and informants.
