Jake Paul Hospitalised After Heavy Defeat by Anthony Joshua

Jake Paul was hospitalised following his six-round loss to former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in Miami, after reportedly suffering a fractured jaw.

The 28-year-old YouTuber-turned-professional boxer showed determination throughout the fight but was ultimately outmatched by Joshua’s size and punching power.

After the bout, Paul expressed concern over a possible jaw injury, which was later confirmed by his promoter, Nakisa Bidarian. Medical evaluation indicated that recovery could take four to six weeks.

Despite the setback, Paul remained upbeat in post-fight comments. “I feel good. It was fun, and I genuinely love this sport,” he said, sharing graphic images and videos on social media that highlighted the fight’s physical toll.

Paul confirmed he will take a short break before returning to the ring, with plans to pursue a cruiserweight world title. “We’ll heal the jaw, come back stronger and fight opponents in my weight class. Anthony Joshua is a great champion. I lost, but that’s part of boxing. I’ll return and keep pushing forward,” he said.

Reflecting on the fight, Paul admitted that fatigue affected his performance. “I got tired trying to manage his size and weight. With better conditioning, I think I could have lasted longer. I gave it everything I had,” he added.
