The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Godwin Obaseki, has defeated his closest rival, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu in Saturday’s gubernatorial election in Edo state in his own local government area, Orhionmwon.
According the result announced by the local government collation Officer Obaseki Scored 13,445 votes to Ize-Iyamu’s 10,458 votes.
