Iran Warns US, UK, France Against Supporting Israel Amid Escalating Tensions
In the wake of recent missile and drone attacks over the weekend, Iran has issued stern warnings to key Western powers, urging them to cease their support for Israel or face repercussions.
According to a senior spokesperson for Iran’s military, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, speaking to the official state news agency IRNA, Iran has cautioned the United States, United Kingdom, France, and Germany against backing Israel. Shekarchi emphasized that if Israel were to retaliate to the recent strikes, Iran would respond even more forcefully.
“We remind the heads of state of the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany to stop supporting the declining child-killing terrorist regime of Israel. The Islamic Republic of Iran has proven that it is not a warmonger and does not seek to spread the war. The response will be stronger if the regime carries out a more severe aggressive act,” stated Shekarchi.
Overnight, a senior Iranian official conveyed to Al Jazeera that Iran possesses a broad range of options to counteract Israel’s actions, warning that Israel’s aggressive behavior towards Iran would be futile.
Tensions in the region continue to escalate amid the exchange of threats and retaliatory measures between Iran and Israel. The international community remains on high alert as the situation unfolds, with fears of further escalation gripping the region.
