“I’m Still a Virgin” – Evangelist Ebuka Obi of Zion Ministry Reveals Three Promises Made to God

Evangelist Ebuka Obi, the leader of the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, has shared the three significant promises he made to God before launching his now widely known ministry.

In a recent interview with Sun, the renowned clergyman revealed that he has maintained his virginity and plans to remain celibate until marriage. Obi explained that this commitment stems from advice he received during his youth from Rev. Fr. Luke Odinkemmelu, who encouraged him to stay pure in order to preserve the grace and power of God upon his life.

According to Obi, the priest’s guidance was clear: “He told me not to have sex until I marry. Yes, he also said that for me to maintain God’s grace, I must not sleep with a woman until I get married.”

Obi further explained that the reverend father’s counsel has shaped his life and ministry. He recalled making a vow to God to remain a virgin until marriage, a promise he has kept to this day. “I’ve not had sex before,” he affirmed.

In addition to this commitment, Rev. Fr. Odinkemmelu also advised Obi against starting his own church. The priest reportedly shared a vision where Obi was speaking to millions but emphasized that he should not leave the Catholic Church. Obi was confused by the advice at first but has since honored it.

“Don’t open a church, don’t have sex until you marry, and don’t be money-minded,” the reverend father told him. Obi, deeply influenced by these words, has adhered to these principles, stating that by following them, he would achieve great success in life and ministry.

Despite the growing popularity of his Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, Obi clarified that his ministry is not a church, and as such, he does not perform baptisms or church weddings.
