“I’m Free”: Man Bathes in 40 Litres of Milk to Celebrate Divorce
A man from Assam has gone viral on social media after a video showed him bathing in 40 litres of milk to mark the end of his marriage. Identified as Manik Ali from Baraliarpar near Mukalmua in Assam’s Nalbari district, he was filmed celebrating his divorce by a neighbour.
In the now widely circulated video, Ali is seen at a tube well outside his home, pouring four buckets of milk over himself while shouting, “I am free from today. We got legally separated in court. My advocate informed me. To celebrate the occasion, I bathed with 40 litres of milk.”
According to multiple reports, the unique celebration took place immediately after Ali received confirmation from his lawyer that the divorce proceedings were officially concluded.
The video has been shared across social media platforms, drawing a mix of reactions—from amusement to disbelief.
