“I’ll Never Offer Free Service to My State After Abandoning Me” – Actress Ngozi Nwosu
Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has voiced her disillusionment with her home state of Abia, stating she will never provide free services to the state after it failed to support her during a critical health battle.
Nwosu, originally from Arochukwu in Abia State, described feeling abandoned by her state government when she needed assistance due to a kidney-related illness. “There is nothing my Abia State will call me for, that I would go for free,” Nwosu said in a recent interview. She went on to add that if Abia State ever requests her services, they would need to meet her financial demands.
The actress credited her eventual recovery to the support of a fan who connected her with the Lagos State government, which stepped in during her time of need.
